Penelope R. Bubier

GREENE – Penelope R. Bubier passed peacefully at home Friday Nov. 11, 2022, at home. She was born Oct. 2, 1938, in Turner, a daughter of Haven and Ruby Durgin Roberts. Penny was a graduate of Leavitt Area High School. She enjoyed family, cooking, painting and their horses. Penny was predeceased by her husband Stanley, her parents, Haven and Ruby and four siblings. Survivors include her children, Stanley Jr. and wife Penny, Susan, Sheldon and wife Judy, Sharalyn, Kevin and wife Christine, Scott and wife Irene, Greg and wife April and Tracy, 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. All mom ever wanted for the ones she loved was to reach for the stars and live life to the fullest, whatever that means to them.

Mom loved these words, “Promise me you’ll give faith a fighting chance and if you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance.”
