Cody S. Howe

HOLLIS – Cody S. Howe, 24, of Lewiston passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022.

Cody was born in Portland, Maine, on May 5, 1998, to Steven D. Howe and Michelle M. (Duchette) Racine. He was educated in the Lewiston and Westbrook school systems. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially Tahj and Dev. Cody had a passion for animals, music, had a green thumb and recently developed a love for travel. He was a fan of hockey and played in the Lewiston/Auburn youth programs and was a Colorado Avalanche fan. Cody had a heart of gold and a genuine hardy laugh that brought a smile to everyone’s face. He brought laughter to so many people. Cody had such a colorful personality and came up with the most unique nicknames for the ones he loved. His love of cars was evident especially how meticulous he kept them, spotless. Cody’s work ethic came natural to him, and he loved hard but played harder.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle Racine of Lewiston and his father Steven Howe of Poland, stepfather Michael Racine of Lewiston, a sister Abbie Howe of Lewiston, stepsiblings; Sydnie, Bernadette, Patric and Cecelia Racine. Cody is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Doris Morin and Pete Duchette; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Susan Howe, his aunt Darlene and uncle John Boissonnault, cousins; Marc and Lauren, aunt Karen and uncle Howie Cowan and cousins, Max and Sam; and his aunt Sunny Nadeau.

Funeral services celebrating Cody’s life will be held on Monday Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., in the funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday Nov. 21, from 3 p.m., until time of service at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway Lewiston, Maine 04240. 784-4023.
