Luke J. Nemethy

LIVERMORE – Luke J. Nemethy 62, of Livermore, born Feb. 10, 1960, left us late Saturday night on Nov. 12, 2022, to be with the love of his life, Linda. Luke suffered a brief battle with health issues.

He was the son of the late Pamela K. Nemethy and the third of five children. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and when he had the chance, he was out on the water in his boat either fishing or just enjoying the day. Luke was always the person, if you needed him he was there and always ready help.

He is survived by his two daughters, Tara Nemethy-Smith and Brooke Proulx and spouse Al; his siblings, Edward Nemethy and spouse Nancy of Peru, Jackie Jasud of Hartford, Elizabeth Boisvert and husband Don of Mechanic Falls as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Luke was predeceased by his mother Pamela; wife Linda; granddaughter Tory; and sister Celestia Lebrun.

Graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Hartford, Maine, in the spring.
