A Blessing of the Bambinelli is scheduled to be held at several Maine churches Sunday, Dec. 11.
On the third Sunday of Advent, children and families are encouraged to bring the Baby Jesus from their nativity sets at home, to remind all of Jesus’ arrival in the manger.
The blessings in Maine:
• Farmington: St. Joseph Church, 133 Middle St., 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
• Jay: St. Rose of Lima Church, 1 Church St. 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
• Lewiston: Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 122 Ash St., 7 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday; Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday; and Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon St., 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
• Lisbon Falls: Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Ave., 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
• Sabattus: Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 131 High St., 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
