Howdy! Gunner’s the name and yes, these are my natural haircolors. I’ve heard I’m part Catahoula Leopard Dog, which is actually neither cat nor leopard. It confused me, too. I am strong and athletic and I like to work out daily. I can’t afford a Peloton, so walks, running and ball playing it is. But I’m open to trying other activities, too. After a good workout I’m happy to chill for a while. Bonus points if that involves a massage and chicken fingers. For me, that is, not for you. Left to my own devices, I would make the rounds looking for a good time at night. But that’s frowned upon and is in fact how I ended up at the shelter. You should know that I think that other dogs are turd bags. They are so not cool, and I am very cool, and I waste no time telling them that. So the people here tell me that is not good manners, and since I can’t keep my opinions to myself I should not be around other dogs. Which is fine with me because, like I said, they are turd bags. Though I’m much better about focusing on other things when I am with a strong leader. I like to do what the people call ‘training’. It’s like a workout for my brain.

Other than finding canines offensive, I’m a happy, fun, powerful, young adult who likes to play, chill and learn. I would love to talk about being your best friend in the whole world. Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris, and is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment).
