The Twin City Thunder’s losing skid extended to five games Friday with a 3-1 loss to the South Shore Kings in a USPHL NCDC game at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.

Bobby Landry tallied a goal and an assist in the win and Culin Wilson — a Thunder futures draft pick in 2019 — added two assists for the Kings (10-11-2, 22 points).

The Thunder (1-12-1, 21 points) jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Richard Davis scored on the power play 72 seconds into the second period. Defensemen Cullen McCormick and Kadsen Johnson provided the helpers.

Davis now has 11 goals on the season for the Thunder, which is second on the team behind Trace Norwell, who has 13 tallies.

Jack Hillier tied the game nearly nine minutes into the second period on the power play, with Landry and Wilson recording the helpers.

Both teams were 1 of 6 on the man-advantage.

Landry beat Thunder goalie Christopher Jackson (33 saves) in the middle of the second period to give the Kings the lead. Wilson and Bowdyn Neeley tallied assists.

Gabriel Pelchat capped the scoring in the third period for the Kings.

Jacob Torgner made 25 saves in the victory for the Thunder.

The Thunder try to go for the split against the Kings on Saturday, with a 5 p.m. faceoff at Norway Savings Bank Arena.
