Bates College junior Paige Cote was named an All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Tuesday.

The Auburn native and St. Dominic Academy grad was selected to the third team by the NFHCA. She becomes the fifth Bates field hockey player to receive All-American honors in program history. Earlier this year, she was named to the NFHCA All-Region First Team.

Cote scored six goals and a team-leading 13 assists on the season. She has 23 assists in her career, which is a school record.

Synapse Sports also named Cote to its All-American Third Team on Tuesday.
