Open House
PARIS — The annual Christmas open house at the Responsible Pet Care Shelter and Adoption Center will be held December 17 & 18 from noon to 4 p.m. The shelter is festively decorated and holiday excitement is in the air! We welcome visitors and donations for the animals to be placed on and under the giving tree. Donations are crucial to support the shelter to bring joy, comfort and any specialized medical care necessary to the 150+ animals that currently are with us awaiting their forever homes (twice as many than previous years). The shelter location is 9 Swallow Road, off High Street in Paris. The need is greater than ever this year because we have so many more animals, particularly felines. Monetary donations, as well as canned and dry feline food is definitely at the top of our Christmas Wish List this year! For more information, call 743-8679.
