POLAND — On December 9, Friends of RSU 16, a group comprised of school and community members, recognized Don and Suzie Stover for their support and advocacy for RSU 16 students and programs. Appreciation was also expressed for their positive community impact. Suzie Stover was a beloved third grade teacher at Elm Street School and continues to support literacy through preschool story hours and volunteer tutoring. Don has been an active member of Poland Conservation Commission and strong supporter of land preservation and outdoor recreation. Suzie and Don are relocating and will be missed in the RSU 16 schools and communities.
