Amber Dawn Victoria Santomango
SABATTUS – Amber Dawn Victoria Santomango, 25, of Sabattus gained her wings on Dec. 16, 2022, at her home, after a courageous lifelong battle with Cystic fibrosis.
Amber was born in Lewiston on Feb. 17, 1997. She attended OHHS and was involved in cheering, soccer, drama and chorus. Her passions were collecting crystals and gems, astrology and a thirst for knowledge.
She always lived life to the fullest going where ever her soul pulled her; cliff jumping, bridge jumping, walking the beaches of everywhere always looking for that one piece. She would go for day adventures in her car listening to her tunes usually not having a destination, it was all about the adventure.
She was very artistic and loved spending time with her three nieces. She previously worked at Oak Hill Cash and DD .
The family wishes to thank Dr. Peggy Wyman and the AHCH Hospice and palliative teams for their care and compassion in her final days.
Amber is survived by her parents Doug and Susan Santomango of Sabattus; two siblings Jakob Santomango and wife Mariah of Virginia, Brittany Davis and her husband Billy; nieces Sophia, Harper and Evelynn of Fla.; her grandparents Patricia Dwyer, Domonic and Diane Santomango, Fran and Edie Dostie, her godparents John and Lindy Wood; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amber was predeceased by her sister Heather
