Carl E. Duchette

POLAND – Carl E. Duchette, 64, passed away peacefully on Dec. 14, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was born July 1, 1958, to Carl and Nancy (Ward) Duchette.

Carl owned and operated Duchette Insurance Agency for 28 years, a career he was passionate about. Carl was a man known for his generosity, humor, kind heart, and larger than life personality. Carl never wanted to see anyone go without, whether it was spoiling his grandchildren, caring for his children or hosting every family event, Carl always put others first. Carl could often be found gathered with friends and family around the island of his kitchen telling jokes, recounting stories and cooking delicious meals. When the weather turned warm, Carl’s favorite place to be was his camp on Rowe Pond visiting with family and friends. Carl will never be forgotten, he will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Carl leaves behind many loved ones including his daughter Rebecca Levesque and her husband Peter, along with their children Nathaniel and Grace of Turner, his son Ian Duchette of Poland; his older brother Lawrance Duchette and wife Constance of Portage, his younger sister Lori Pelletier and husband Dan of Poland; and Rebecca and Ian’s mother Cheryl Jordan of Sabattus.

Please join the family for a celebration of life that will be held on Jan. 7, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Carl’s home in Poland.
