Robert A. Poulin
LEWISTON – Robert A. Poulin, 89, of 214 Russell Street, Lewiston, died in Lewiston on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022.
Robert was born in Lewiston on Jan. 26, 1933, the son of the late Albert and Louise C (Frechette) Poulin. He was a resident of the community for all of his life, and was also a member of the Prince of Peace Parish. He was educated in local schools, after which he went to work at Koss Shoe in Auburn, until he joined the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was regularly stationed in Arizona. After his tour of duty he worked as a painter and carpenter until 1972, when he went to work for LePage Bakery, retiring in 2000. Bob found he needed a part-time job to occupy his time, so took a job with Norwich House & Common Ties, also in Lewiston. He married Jeannette A. Cloutier on August 13, 1993.
He loved to travel, enjoyed playing Beano at the local Beano Halls and he loved to make people laugh, he was quite the joker. He will be sadly missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jeannette of Lewiston; as well as several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by a brother, Jean Paul Poulin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Lewiston at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Dec. 27, 2022.
