FARMINGTON — A family was displaced from their home Sunday morning after flames engulfed an attached garage at 206 Livermore Falls Road, Fire Chief Timothy Hardy said Monday.

A representative from the state Fire Marshal’s Office will visit the scene Tuesday as part of the investigation into the cause, he said.

Firefighters responded to the 1:03 a.m. call and found the garage attached to the house engulfed in flames.

Local police and ambulance personnel responded to the call, as well as firefighters from Wilton, New Sharon, Chesterville and Temple.
