AUBURN – Deane Paul Rice, 75, passed away peacefully at Bolster Heights Residential Care on Dec. 22, 2022.

He was born in Lewiston on March 27, 1947, to the late Roy Rice and Edna Davis. Deane proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Rice; and his parents.

There will be a service in the chapel at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta, where he will receive military honors, on Jan. 5 at 12 p.m.
