Therese F. Roberge
AUBURN – Therese F. Roberge, 97, of Auburn passed away peacefully in the home in which she was raised in on Jan. 1, 2023. She was the daughter of Arthur and Victoria Potvin.
Educated at St.Louis school, she married Roland E. Roberge on Nov. 15, 1947. Therese worked in several local shoe shops, later working at Jake & Andy’s donuts, and then worked at her family business, Curran Beansprouts.
An avid Boston Red Sox fan, Therese enjoyed watching all of her children and grandchildren play sports. She was involved in candlepin bowling, winning back to back team state championships in 1997 and 1998. Her favorite pass time was playing cards and beating family members at cribbage. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on many bus trips.
Therese was a member of St. Anne’s at St. Louis church, where she was a parish member for many years. Holidays at Memere’s were always a big event with amazing food and lots of family.
Therese was preceded in death by her husband Roland, and many brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Rita Beaulieu (Alan), sons George (Marie), Bertrand (Mary), Laurent (Sue), Marcel ( Tammy).
She is also survived by grandchildren, Michelle Rouleau, Todd Beaulieu, Toni Svor, Kristin Ramadani, Matthew Roberge, Jennifer Whitford, Gregory Roberge, David Roberge, Nick Roberge, Brittany Johnson, Tyler Crowley, Ryan Roberge. She was a great grandmother to: Madysen Dubois, Abby Svor, Julia Svor, Wyatt Roberge, Theo Ramadani, Trevor Whitford, Urijah Crowley, Elenor Johnson, Isabelle Johnson.
At the request of the family services will be private. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice staff.
