SOUTH PARIS — Oxford Hills Technical School plans to hold the 12th annual Oxford Hills Tech Challenge at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11,  at the 256 Main St. school.

Tech Challenge is a showcase event in which students from 21 career and technical programs participate in skill-specific competitions and demonstrations for parents, community members and others.

Among the competitions and demonstrations are building mock-ups, movie making, vehicle diagnostics, vehicle painting, welding, pipe design, T-shirt design, PLC programming, chili and baking contest, bicycle painting, cookie contest, wood burning, chainsaw accuracy, computer troubleshooting and coding, business planning, vacation planning, window display, cube house and courtyard designs, ECE Jeopardy, fascinator design, a crime scene forensic scenario, a poetry contest, Allied Health demonstrations and an electrical presentation.

The competitions are ongoing and concurrent, so the public can visit as many different programs for as long as they are able.
