Bryan Edward Lambert Sr.

CHELSEA, Mass. – Bryan Edward Lambert Sr., TSgt USAF (retired) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 20, 2022. He was 71 years old.

Born May 16, 1951, in Auburn, Maine, Bryan attended George Washington University. Following his college studies, Bryan joined the United States Air Force, becoming a 20-year veteran of the armed services. Stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, for years, he moved back to Maine with his family to finish out his military career in his native New England. Ever the civil servant, Bryan was employed by the United States Postal Service for 15 years thereafter. Bryan was incredibly hard-working and dependable.

Easy-going and amiable, Bryan was a quietly strong presence. He was an avid sports fan – playing, coaching, and watching his entire life, with an uncanny ability to recall sports moments and stats. Bryan adored his children and grandchildren, and his beloved dogs.

He was predeceased by his mother, Ivie, and brother, Bruce. Bryan is survived by his father, Edward (Ted) Lambert, daughter, Lisa Franklin, son and daughter-in-law, Bryan, Jr. and Joanna Lambert, and grandchildren, Isaak, Vivienne, Hannah, and Theodore (Teddy).

A private service will be held at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta on Thursday, February 9, at 12 p.m. We welcome family and friends who wish to pay their respects; he will be sorely missed.
