Gary D. Hesketh II

POLAND – On the morning of Jan. 2, 2023, our beloved son, father, brother, partner, and friend Gary D. Hesketh II, 41, passed away in a tragic accident. Gary was born on July 4, 1981, in Lewiston, Maine. He lived in Poland, Maine, with his longtime partner, Carrie J. Greenleaf.

He was the son of Darla J. Elliott (Hall) and her husband William F. Elliott, of Poland. He is survived by his sisters, Melissa Hill, Carrie Hesketh, and Laura Coulliard (Hesketh); stepsiblings, April Elliott- Cartner, Robert Elliott; and his beloved children; Isaiah Tucker, Eelias Hesketh, Selina Brown, Marlee Hesketh, and Maddix Holden; many nieces and nephews, whom he loved tremendously. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was the best son, brother, father and friend in the world. He loved everyone unconditionally, and his contagious smile and personality were infectious. Everyone who knew Gary loved him so much. He was the life of the party and was always up for an adventure. He valued his family and friends, and would always take the time to stop and chat, even if he had somewhere to be. He had a heart of gold, and was the first to jump in and help anyone in need. He was loved beyond measure and will be sorely missed.

He spent many of his teen and adult years working in the logging and tree work industry and was currently employed by Maine Gutter Works.

He was predeceased by his father Gary D. Hesketh I, half-sister Amanda Hesketh and all of his maternal and paternal grandparents.
