Jaybe Gerard Bourgoin

AUBURN – Jaybe Gerard Bourgoin passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 1, 2023.

He was born in Lewiston on April 16, 1980, the son of Gerard and Diane Bourgoin. Jaybe attended Edward Little High and was part of the graduating class of 1998.

After high school, he began working as a loader for Valley Distributors for 16 years, before moving to Central Distributors where he was currently employed. Jaybe was a strong, hard-working individual who would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Regardless of the situation, he was always there, eager and willing to lend a helping hand.

Jaybe was a true family man, and always put others before him. His love for his family and friends shined through everything he did.

When he wasn’t working or helping with a project, Jaybe loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was camping or four-wheeling, you would find him with a glowing smile on his face. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and would never be caught missing a game.

Jaybe was predeceased by his grandmother, Yvette Chapman; and father, Gerard Bourgoin.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Diane Bourgoin and stepfather, Kirk Mosher. Jaybe also leaves behind his three brothers, Ryan Bourgoin and significant other Maggie, Gregg Norton and wife Joanna, Mike Norton, and his stepsister, Tayler Mosher.

Jaybe is survived by his two daughters, Saige and Jaylei Bourgoin, and two sons, Patrick and David Redman.

A visitation at The Fortin Group in Auburn will be held on Monday, Jan. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by an in-house service at 6 p.m.

Arrangements are under the care of the Fortin Group Funeral Homes located on 217 Turner St. in Auburn, ME 04210.
