NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital welcomed its first baby of 2023 at 3:35 a.m. on Jan. 6, when Rowan Gabriel St. Laurent was born.
Rowan was welcomed by his parents, Gabriel and Chelsie St. Laurent, and older sister, Adaline, 5, of Greene. Rowan weighed six pounds, six point two ounces and measured 19 inches in length.
Chelsie shares, “We are so happy Rowan is here! We love Stephens – our birth experience was wonderful! Ten out of 10 we would recommend the Family Birthplace at Stephens. A special thank you goes to my nurse, Alyssa, for being so supportive and helpful during my delivery.”
Gabriel and Chelsie welcomed their new baby boy with the help of Dr. Jordan Faloon of Western Maine OB/GYN. Stephens presented Rowan and his family a gift bag full of baby items as part of the celebration.
