FARMINGTON — Nomination papers are available for four elected positions that will be decided at the March 27 Annual Town Meeting elections.
Selectmen seats currently held by Stephan Bunker and Scott Landry are to be elected. Regional School Unit 9 Board of Director terms held by Scott Erb and J. Wayne Kinney will also be voted on. The four seats are three-year terms.
Nomination papers are due by 5 p.m. Jan. 26. A signed consent of the candidate to serve must be filed with the nomination paper and both must be submitted in person. At least 25 nor more than 100 signatures of registered voters of the town are required.
Town Clerk Susan Murphy Monday, Jan. 9, said Bunker is seeking re-election. Dennis O’Neil and Amy DePauw have also taken out papers for selectman, she noted. Erb has not taken out papers for a RSU 9 director, but Kinney and Joseph Clark have, she added.
In an email Tuesday, Erb said he was “thinking about what he wanted to do.”
Before the meeting selectmen Tuesday night, Landry said he was not seeking re-election.
