LEWISTON — The day before Valentine’s Day — Monday, Feb. 13 — YWCA Central Maine plans to deliver custom gift baskets for its Spread the Love fundraiser, formerly known as Galentine’s Day.
YWCA Central Maine invites members of the community to send a Spread the Love basket to a loved one, friend, neighbor, employee or client, or purchase a large one for a favorite team of workers to share. Spread the Love baskets are stuffed full of items like chocolate, baked goods, coffee, soaps, flowers, gift cards, candles and personalized messages.
Hand delivery is within the Lewiston/Auburn community. Special arrangements also can be made for delivery outside of the immediate area for three baskets or more.
Baskets are offered in two sizes, small and large, and each will be a special surprise delivery. Small baskets cost $30 and large baskets cost $50, including delivery.
The Spread the Love fundraiser benefits the work of the local YWCA in empowering women and eliminating racism. It continues to do this work with donations and support, according to a news release from Jennifer Molloy, director of development and communications.
To order a Spread the Love basket, visit ywcamaine.org to fill out the form and email it to [email protected], call the YWCA at 207-795-4050, or stop by the front desk at 130 East Ave.
