Jeanne R. (Dubois) Cloutier

LEWISTON – Jeanne R. (Dubois) Cloutier, 79, of Auburn, died on Monday Jan. 9, 2023.

She was the daughter of Frank and Adrienne (Gagne) Dubois.

She was educated in local schools and was employed in the shoe shop industry and Emerson Chevrolet for most of her life.

On May 4, 1963 she married Denis R. Cloutier and raised three children. Upon her retirement, they spent their winters in Florida for 10 years until his death in 2010. Jeanne was a member of Sacred Heart Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Jeanne is survived by two daughters, JoAnn and husband Robert Surette of Harrison and Judith Hartford of Auburn, a son, Robert Cloutier and his wife Mary Beth of Auburn; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Adrienne Dubois; her husband, Denis Cloutier; and a sister, Irene Dube.

You are invited to a time of visitation on Wednesday Jan. 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Fortin Group Funeral Home, 217 Turner St, Auburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 8 Sacred Heart Place, Auburn, immediately followed by a committal service at St. Peters Cemetery, Switzerland Rd., Lewiston.
