The First Universalist Church of West Paris is planning a comfort food fundraiser during what is typically Maine’s coldest time of the year.

The cost is $18 per pie.

Those interested in purchasing chicken pies can call or email their order before Jan. 25 to Marta Clements at 207-674-2143 or mclements96894@roadrunner.com.

Pies can be picked up between 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the 208 Main St. church.

In the event of a snowstorm, pickup will take place at the same times Wednesday, Feb. 1.
