Big thanks from Christmas for Teens

To the Editor:
On behalf of Rightstart’s Christmas for Teens, we would like to thank Monica LaVerdiere and the Bearfoot Realty team for their very successful fundraiser, raising $36,000 for the program. Also collected were many donations of warm clothing, personal care items, games, gift cards, warm blankets, etc. This fundraiser brought together many contributors from this community and beyond, to help deserving teens in the Oxford Hills enjoy Christmas. This year with the help of our community, we served 167 teens from 110 Oxford Hills families. Our teens meet economic guidelines and are full-time students at OHMS, OHCHS/Technical School, including our homeless population, meeting the same requirements. The fundraiser was a wonderful success, and we appreciate the support.
