New England Cancer Specialists announces Dr. Dan Rausch has joined its cancer treatment team.
New England Cancer Specialists is the region’s largest community oncology practice and affiliate member of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Rausch was born in Lewiston and grew up in Auburn where he lives. He is accepting new patients at the practice’s Scarborough office.
“I am excited about the opportunity to join the team here in providing top-tier care to Mainers who are facing a cancer diagnosis,” Rausch said.
Rausch attended Haverford College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and medical school at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. He completed his residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts.
Rausch is board certified in hematology and oncology. His hiring expands the New England Cancer Specialists oncology team to 14 doctors at their Maine offices in Topsham, Scarborough and Kennebunk and in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
