Frances Westleigh
AUBURN – Frances Westleigh, 93, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born at home in Turner, to Leonard and Anna Small on Dec. 30, 1929.
She worked for many years in the local shoe industry. She always enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting and making quilts. She loved attending Church and attending Bible Study. She cherished all the friendships she made in the years she lived at Frye School Apts.
She is survived by sons, Wayne and Bruce (Sandra) Westleigh and Robert and Richard Lachance, daughter-in-law, Vicky Westleigh; several nieces and nephews; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Gloria Levenstallar.
Frances was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Gilbert and Oliver Small, sister, Lucy Brown; son, Dwight Westleigh; husbands, Kenneth Westleigh (1958), Robert Lachance (1994) and Milford Westleigh (2011); and four young grandchildren (1979).
