Mary E. LaBrecque

OXFORD – Mary E. LaBrecque, 78, of Oxford, passed away at her home on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023. She was born in Norway on Oct. 4, 1944, the daughter of William Kendall and Lucy Moss Bickford.

She graduated from Norway High School and had been a homemaker most of her life. She also worked at B. E. Cole, Norway Laundry and J. J. Newberry. She married Michael LaBrecque on July 2, 1966. She bowled in several area bowling leagues and was a state champion at one time.

She is survived by her husband Michael of Oxford; sons Charlie LaBrecque and Patty of Oxford and Michael LaBrecque of South Paris, daughters Lisa Hemingway and Kip of Harrison and Nancy LaBrecque of Oxford; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister Pat Howe of Portland. She was predeceased by two brothers Gene Bickford and Richard Bickford.
