RoseMarie Mason

CANTON – RoseMarie Mason, 83, a former resident of North Turner, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Pinnacle Nursing Home in Canton. She was born Jan. 31, 1939, in Lewiston, the daughter of Clayton and Winona (Paul) Morris. She was a 1957 graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner. On Aug. 6, 1957, in North Turner she married the love of her life, Jerald “Jerry” Mason. They enjoyed 60 years together before his passing on Dec. 23, 2017. RoseMarie worked packing apples for Leavitt Orchards, LP Farms and Ricker Hill Orchards. She was a former member of Turner Rescue and the Turner ATV Club. She loved going dancing with Jerry and their times traveling together. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and Pug dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Brown and her husband, James of Turner, grandchildren, Michael Brown and wife Meg of Jay, Timothy Brown and wife Haley of Livermore, Kevin Brown and wife Leslie of California, Corey Mason of Sabattus, and Kristopher Mason of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Amelia, Alex and Adrián, sisters, Nancy Doud of Florida and Bonnie Fales of Turner.

A celebration of life gathering will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, January 26, at Vista of Maine, 158 North Hills Road, Greene, Maine. A graveside service for both RoseMarie and Jerry at the North Turner Cemetery, Howes Corner Road, Turner, Maine will be announced in the spring.
