GREENWOOD — Annual town meeting in Greenwood will be held at 9 a.m. May 20. It is traditionally held the Saturday before Memorial Day weekend, as is the case this year.
One select board candidate, Arnie Jordan, will reach the end of his term on June 30, 2023. Nominations for his seat will be made on the floor at the start of town meeting. He has not decided if he will run for another term. Because the town uses the open town meeting format, no nomination papers need to be filed before May 20.
Appeals board, planning board and conservation commission are not elected positions, these positions are appointed by the select board.
The town meeting will be held at the American Legion Jackson-Silver Post #68, 595 Gore Road.
