Donald Evan Bowen

LITCHFIELD – Donald Evan Bowen passed away peacefully on Saturday Jan. 28, 2023.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1942, at home in Topsham, Vt., to Myron and Katherine (Morrison) Bowen.

Donald retired from the Air force as a master sergeant, then worked at the Brunswick Navy base for many years.

He married Mary Glidden of Coopers Mills on May 30, 1964.

Donald Enjoyed flying with Mary in their two seat Cessna and going upta camp in Carrying Place TWP, and he had a few hobbies; electronics, mechanics and carpentry.

Donald’s surviving family includes his daughter Faith Bowen of Litchfield; brother Keith Bowen of Barre, Vt., two brothers-in-law Gordon Glidden of Pittston and Cy Lamberton of East Calais, Vt., two sisters-in-law, Peggy Bowen of East Calais, Vt., Betty Morrison of Craftsbury, Vt.; and many nieces and nephews in both states.

Services will be announced at a future date.
