WILTON – Mary Marsters, 88, died Tuesday Jan. 31, 2023 at the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. She resided in Wilton. Born in Rumford on Sept. 28, 1934, she was a daughter of Antonio and Savaria (Miele) Umbro, Sr.

Mary worked at Diamond Match and for local doctor’s offices in the housekeeping dept. She was an avid Boston Bruins and Red Sox fan.

Survivors include her son Stephen and his companion Catherine Mettey of Rangeley; grandchildren Kathrine Marsters of Augusta and Timothy Marsters of Waldoboro; great-grandchildren Makenzie Marsters of Warren, Samantha and Ariana Marsters of Waldoboro; sisters, Josephine Umbro of Rumford, Cecilia Umbro of Auburn, Theresa Merchant of South Portland, Jane Langlin of Livermore, brothers, Pasquale Umbro of Lisbon and Lucien Umbro of Beverley, Mass. She was predeceased by her brothers Anthony, Jr., Vito and Joseph and a sister Ann Cunningham.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Canton. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, Maine.
