Local artist and chef Jules Muzyka is the next featured artist in the Gritty’s Art and Ale Window. Her series on display is called “Organized Chaos” and features pieces from her collection created during a time of transformation and growth.
Muzyka has lived in Maine since she was just 2 months old. She started painting in 2005 and has produced a prolific body of work. She creates thoughtful, abstract pieces featuring flowers, spirals and mandalas. Her work has been described as sharp and psychedelic. She lives in Lewiston, and is the head chef and kitchen manager at Obscura Café & Drinkery.
When she’s not getting creative in the kitchen or at her easel she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, walking, playing various instruments, listening to music, gardening and spending time
in nature.
Her work will be on display through April. For more information, visit wickedillustrations.com.
