Evelyn Josephine Robichaud

LEWISTON – Evelyn Josephine Robichaud, 91, of Lewiston, passed away at St Mary’s Hospital on Feb. 2, 2023, with loving family by her side.

Evelyn was born on March 21, 1931, of William McPhee and Anna Cormier in Shediac, NB, Canada.

She married Gerald Armand Robichaud in 1949 and she became a naturalized citizen in 1955.

Together they raised four children, and ran multiple businesses including The Pine Street Cafe.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Gerald and leaves behind a daughter Barbara A. Madore and husband Leonard. Three sons, Wayne Robichaud and wife Cheryle, Steven Robichaud and William J. Robichaud and wife Keri. Evelyn will be fondly remembered and missed by her longterm companion Larry Saucier, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Per Evelyn’s wishes a small private family ceremony will be held.

The family would also like to offer their gratitude and deep appreciation to Evelyn’s daughter-in-law Cathy Madore, RN for her compassion and help provided to Evelyn in her final years.
