BETHEL — Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib) was the topic of last week’s “To Your Health” event held at the Bethel Congregational Church. Nearly 30 people were in attendance to learn about symptoms and causes of A-Fib, early diagnosis, and recent advances in treatment. Dr. Daniel van Buren, Cardiologist, from the New England Heart Institute at Androscoggin Valley Hospital presented a lively, informative, and interactive session. “To Your Health” is a community service in collaboration with the Western Mountains Senior College, the Bethel Family Health Center, and MSAD#44 Adult and Continuing Education.

The next “To Your Health” event, Tune-up for Spring,  will be Thursday, April 13 at the Bethel Congregational Church from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Topics include the Health Benefits of Tai Chi, Healthy Bones, and The Joy of Music. The event is free and open to all ages.
