Four generations of the Keene family recently gathered for a photo. They include Kevin Keene of Farmingdale, son; Eugene Keene Sr. of Auburn, father; Jack Nicholas Keene of Hallowell, great-grandson; and Nicholas Keene of Hallowell, grandson.

The Keenes of Auburn have four children — Eugene Jr., Katy Keene Hunter, Margaret Keene Clements and Kevin Keene — as well as 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
