The Lewiston Public Library plans to host a four-week yoga series for teens in March.

Classes will begin at 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays, March 1-22 on the second floor IDEA Lab at the 200 Lisbon St. library.

Practice will focus on simple breathing and mindfulness techniques as well as gentle movement, according to a news release from Harper Chance at the library.

This series is designed to support teens in building skills they can use to relax, manage stress and connect with each other. Yoga mats, light snacks, and drinks will be provided.

All are welcome, and no prior experience is needed.

For more information, contact the library at 207-513-3135 or lplreference@lewistonmaine.gov.
