BETHEL — The GraceNote book club met Feb. 15 at The GraceNote Inn over scones and coffee to discuss the Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles.

Volunteer and former English teacher Paula Weisberger, of Bethel, created questions then led the 22 men and women in a discussion of the characters and their morality, the structure of the novel and the surprise ending.

Other volunteers will lead future discussions.

At the last meeting for Lessons in Chemistry, 37 people attended prompting the group to add another day session at an alternative time.

On March 1 at 10 a.m., BookClub #2 will discuss Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson.

The next 2 p.m. group, or BookClub #1,  will meet on Tuesday, March 14 to talk about The Stranger in the Woods by Michael Finkel.

Kelcy Boles, Bethel librarian, will order books on interlibrary loan, first come, first served, if anyone is interested.
