
WHITEFIELD, N.H. — Tom Mee, RN, BSN, MBA, and Chief Executive Officer of North Country Healthcare (NCH), was recently recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of 80 Rural Healthcare Leaders to Know in 2023. According to Becker’s Hospital Review, “Rural hospitals are critical to the success of the U.S. healthcare system to expand access to care in remote areas. CEOs at the helm of these important community institutions have many responsibilities to make sure their hospitals thrive.”
As noted in the online publication, Tom manages the network of affiliates within NCH, and is guided by the organization’s Mission to improve lives by assuring consistently excellent, integrated healthcare. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, Tom has a diverse leadership background, including nursing, physician practice, and operations. Under his leadership, NCH was recognized as a ‘Best Place to Work in Healthcare’ by Modern Healthcare, in 2020. Tom has been with NCH since 2019.
