Bonita “Bonnie” A. Therriault

DIXFIELD – Bonita “Bonnie” A. Therriault, 74, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was a resident of Dixfield.

Born in Rumford on Dec. 4, 1948, she was the daughter of William and Margaret (Nixon) Robinson. She was a graduate of Stephens High School class of 1967 in Rumford.

Bonnie worked as a secretary for Dr. David Phillips and later worked for Mead Paper in the north end Finishing Department until her retirement.

Bonnie loved sports, especially NFL football and NASCAR. She also loved cooking, canning and collecting glass figurines, but she especially loved her daily visits from family and friends stopping by for coffee and comradery. The Therriault home is affectionately known as, “The Coffee House”.

Her son Eric was her world and a source of tremendous pride and joy. She loved and adored caring for Eric and Tom and her daughter-in-law, Peggy; who she said was the daughter she never had. Her family was everything to her.

She was also an avid golfer in earlier years and enjoyed her many trips to Las Vegas, Nev. with her husband Tom. Bonnie loved Christmas and enjoyed all her annual traditions surrounding the holiday.

Bonnie was married in Mexico on June 14, 1969 to Thomas Therriault, who survives, of Dixfield. Together they had one son, Eric Therriault and his wife, Margaret “Peggy” of Dixfield.
