Karen A. (Landry) Arondel DeHayes

LEWISTON – Karen A. (Landry) Arondel DeHayes, 69, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly, in her sleep, on Feb. 27, 2023 at her home.

Karen was born in Bridgeport, Conn. on March 27, 1953 to Dorothy F. Foster and William Landry.

She adored her sons and grandsons, they were her world. She loved her monthly dinners with her sisters and friends and weekly breakfasts with her good friend, Evie. She enjoyed listening to country music and line dancing. She enjoyed traveling, with Hawaii being one of her favorite trips. She worked at South Ave and Lisbon Street Variety for many years.

She is survived by her sons Michele Landry, his wife Karen and grandson Joseph Nudd of New Hampshire; Marc Warren and grandson Mason of Lewiston; her stepfather, George Foster of Gorham; her siblings William Landry of Anson, Donna Jewett of Westminster, S.C., Joni Fecteau and her husband Marc of Casco, Tammy Landry of Lewiston and Lisa Downes and her husband, Glen of Gorham; also, many nieces and nephews. She had so many very good friends who will miss her dearly as well as all her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Arondel DeHayes; mother, father; brother, Scott Landry; and nephew, Mathew Fecteau.

We would like to thank family and friends for all their love and support.

A celebration of life will be held at Governors in Lewiston at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.
