Kim Paul Baril

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Kim Baril, 67, formerly of Auburn, passed away at Portsmouth Regional hospital from heart failure on Wednesday Feb. 22, 2023, after contracting pneumonia with further complications. He was surrounded by his wife and family members at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Barrington, N.H., and his brother, Dean Baril and Dean’s wife Brenda of Orlando, Fla., along with sister-in-law Helena Baril of South Paris, brother-in-law Brian Harris of Winthrop, and many nieces, nephews and their children.

He was predeceased by his parents, three of his brothers and his two sisters.

He was the 1975 senior class president at Edward Little High School, Auburn. Kim owned Five Star Communications; a business phone installation and service company for over 25 years and he was a Mason.

Kim loved whitewater rafting, road trips and driving on Hurricane Mountain Road or off road in his Jeep.

He loved to travel visiting many states in the U.S., Caribbean islands, Mexico, Europe and Morocco.

He enjoyed square dancing, traveling to weekend festivals and state or national conventions.

He was the constant funny story teller and prankster and influenced everyone with lasting impact. Our lives were richer due to his presence and humor. He will be forever loved and missed.

A Celebration of Life for Kim will be held later this spring or summer in Auburn.
