Constance “Connie” P. Baillargeon

LISBON – Constance “Connie” P. Baillargeon, 79, passed away on March 5, 2023, at Central Maine Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife to Richard “Dick” Baillargeon, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years.

Connie was born on July 30, 1943, to the late Leon and Lillian (Fillion) Boisclair. She attended local schools including Ave Maria Convent and Mary Joseph Academy before she met her husband at the age of 18. They married Dec. 29, 1962, and soon after moved to Germany for two years where their first child, Ronda, was born. After Dick’s deployment in Germany, they returned to settle and purchase their family home in Lisbon.

Connie enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her two daughters and will always be remembered for her amazing cooking. She always had a fridge full of sunny-d and snacks for friends and visitors, especially her devoted grandchildren whom she cherished. Her home was always open to family and friends who would be welcomed with open arms, a kiss on the cheek, and someone willing to listen and provide loving advice.

She deeply enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite time of the year was the annual camping trip to Sebago Lake State Park in Naples, Maine, a family tradition that Connie and Dick started over 60 years ago. She was also an avid gardener who enjoyed a Maine lobster roll on occasion. If Connie was not in her garden, she would be working on a stained-glass tiffany lamp shade or reading a book with her dog, Bentley, by her side.

In addition to her loving husband Dick, Connie is survived by her loyal daughters: Ronda Lecompte and her husband Mike of Lewiston and Kim Hachey and her husband Steve of Winthrop, as well as her four grandchildren, Logan Lecompte, Marc Hachey, Lauren Lecompte and Adam Hachey. She is also survived by a loving extended family as well as many nieces and nephews, and her dog, Bentley.

In honoring Connie’s wishes, there will be a time of visitation at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway in Lewiston on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 1-3:30 p.m., with a short service to follow.
