BRIDGTON — Gallery 302 is showcasing Lake Region High School artwork for the 2023 Student Art Show.

Because of the encouragement of the art teachers and the willingness of the student artists to share their work with the gallery, the gallery is able to participate in the national celebration of visual arts for grades K-12.

Youth Art Month is an observance each March to emphasize the value of art and art education for all children. It recognizes the skills developed in visual arts as experiences that are not possible in other curriculum areas and that are vital skills that contribute to the success of children in a global society, according to a news release from Suzanne Agostino at the gallery.

The student works are scheduled to be on display at the 112 Main St. gallery through Friday, March 31. A reception was held March 5.

For more information and gallery hours, call the gallery at 207-647-2787.
