Makiya

This pretty and reserved lady is Makiya. Makiya is a 12-year-old gal who is very calm, and who can live with other dogs, cats, and older kids. She walks very well on a leash. She is housetrained. She’s awesome! She’s happy to go for a walk and keep you company while you do things, and she’s also happy to find a favorite spot to relax. This mild-mannered girlie is ready to move right in and fill up that empty spot in your heart. I’m sure she has an empty spot in her own heart for you to fill. She finds herself at the shelter as a senior because her owner could no longer care for her. She is hard of hearing. She weighs 45 pounds. Can you give Makiya the wonderful retirement home she deserves?

If you are interested in meeting our sweet Makiya, fill out our application at www.responsiblepetcare.org/dogs or in person at the shelter. An approved application is required prior to a meeting.
