
PARIS — University of Maine Cooperative Extension Oxford County will hold a workshop on raising swine on March 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the UMaine Extension office, 9 Olson Road, South Paris.
Join Dr. Colt W. Knight, UMaine Extension State Livestock Specialist, for “Swine 101”, a 2-hour primer on raising pastured pork. Topics include breed selection, basic reproductive information, swine nutrition, fencing, housing, meat yield, and more.
