The grand reopening of Jay Baptist Church at 27 Smith Ave. is planned for Sunday, March 26.

Since the church’s Dec. 31 closure, major repairs have been made to the sanctuary wall and ceiling, according to a news release from Pastor Gary Bestwick.

The celebration will include a coffee fellowship in the vestry from 9:45-1025 a.m. and a special Sunday worship service at 1030 a.m.

Bestwick will preach on the topic “Who is Jesus?”
