Company A of the 3rd Maine Regiment Volunteer Infantry participated Sunday in war reenactments and educational presentations dedicated to preserving Maine’s role in the American Civil War (1861-1865). The group welcomes new members to fill roles of infantry, surgeons, chaplains and civilian relief organizations. It has several training weekends, encampments, reenactments and parades planned for the year.
