“Off World,” an original, comedic, science fiction dance show, is the brainchild of Amelia Pullen, artistic director for the The Dance Center in Auburn, who imagined the storyline, wrote the script and researched appropriate music for the performance.

Lily Yarnevich and Alex Hall helped with the choreography and Lana Hall did the costume design.

The storyline is about a greedy corporation, SMIRC (Space Mining Industrial Recourses Corp.), which is exploring other planets to mine resources to bring back to Earth. Narration is included to help move along the plot.

Performances are set for Thursday and Friday at Riverfront Performing Arts and Events at 46 Cedar St. in Lewiston. For more information, see www.thedancecenterla.com.
