BETHEL — This week’s guest speaker was Lizz Peacock, the newly appointed Managing Director of Maine Adaptive. Lizz shared about all the programs Maine Adaptive organizes year-round in Maine, in locations throughout the state.
Their goal is total inclusivity when it comes to outdoor sports & recreation for all ages and abilities. Celebrating its 41st year, Maine Adaptive’s largest single fundraiser is their Ski-A-Thon and it’s scheduled for Sunday, April 2nd. It is easy to sponsor a team, or make a donation by going to their event website https://maineadaptive.kindful.com/.
This is an organization worthy of all of our support! Lizz was the guest of Maine Adaptive team member and Rotarian Mary Scanlon.
